3. Protein Treatment
Apply a hair mask of 1 egg and a spoon of olive oil to your scalp and hair lengths. Leave it on for 30 minutes and then shampoo your hair.
If you don’t want to use egg then, make a mask by mixing a spoon of gelatine, a spoon of coconut oil or conditioner, and 5 to 6 spoons of lukewarm water. Mix well until gel-like consistency is formed and then apply on the lengths of your hair at least 10 cms away from the scalp. Cover your hair with a shower cap and wash your hair post 45 minutes of application.
Eggs and gelatine are a rich source of protein vital for thick and lustrous hair.
4. Essential Oils
Heat coconut oil until lukewarm on a double boiler and add 4 to 6 drops of hibiscus, rosemary, and peppermint oil to it.
Apply on the scalp using a medium cotton ball and then gently massage your scalp using figure tips for 20 minutes. Allow it to soak overnight. In the morning, steam your hair with the help of a towel dipped in hot water. Wrap it around your head to pass the heat and help the oil penetrate better; it also helps wash off oil easily from hair.
5. Nature has it all
Boil a vessel of water and add a piece of cinnamon, hibiscus leaves (20-30), and curry leaves (10-20). Let it boil on low flame for 10 minutes, off the flame, and let it sit covered until lukewarm. Then give your hair a final wash using this water by massaging the scalp gently.
